F-16 “fighting falcon”
The F-16 is a highly maneuverable, lightweight aircraft. It was designed to be a great airplane without the high cost. It first flew in December of 1976. The Fighting Falcon can carry air-to-air missiles or air-to-surface missiles. The cockpit is very advanced, it has a joystick, a fuel gauge, radios, radar, computers, engine instruments, warning lights, and of course a clear canopy. The United States lends the Fighting Falcon to its allies. The top speed of the F-16 is 1,498 miles per hour. |
